Heather Allen of the Carbon Community, Cynghordy, Llandovery sent us this invitation to join them in their carbon study for the Big Tree Measure 2024. Heather says <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Glandwr\u00a0Forest is a new native broadleaf forest and is home to The Carbon Community\u2019s\u00a0landmark carbon study<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>which aims to help trees absorb more carbon from the\u00a0air by\u00a0accelerating tree growth and improving soil biodiversity.\u00a0Designed together with leading scientists, this unique field trial combines two\u00a0natural approaches, forest\u00a0<\/a>microbiome inoculation\u00a0and enhanced rock weathering, which\u00a0have been proven in the lab and are now being studied in a large-scale field trial.
